Carboxytherapy Facial

The CLINICCARE Non-Invasive Carboxytherapy facial is a no-downtime treatment resulting in tissue tightening, cell regeneration and an improvement in the appearance of skin. This facial treatment can help reduce wrinkles, improve skin elasticity, brighten skin tone, and diminish the appearance of dark circles.

By the age of 30, oxygen levels in our skin drop by 25% and about 50% by the age of 40, making skin more prone to the signs of ageing. The CLINICCARE Non-Invasive Carboxytherapy facial is a treatment during which carbon dioxide (CO2), is infused into the skin to encourage an increased flow of oxygen. Our body responds by increasing blood flow and growth factors, which in turn improves circulation, resulting in cell restoration, a reduction in fine lines and wrinkles and collagen stimulation

How it works –

Carbon Dioxide Infusion:
A special gel and activator mask are applied to the face, creating a reaction that releases carbon dioxide into the skin.

Increased Oxygen Flow:
The body responds to the carbon dioxide by sending more oxygen to the treated area, boosting circulation and cellular activity.

Natural Rejuvenation:
This increased oxygenation stimulates natural healing and regeneration processes, leading to improved skin condition.

The Benefits –

Reduces Wrinkles and Fine Lines:
By boosting collagen production and improving skin elasticity, carboxytherapy can help minimize the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines.

Brightens Skin Tone:
Increased circulation and oxygen flow can lead to a more radiant and even complexion.

Reduces Dark Circles:
Improved blood flow can help fade dark circles under the eyes.

Tightens and Firms Skin:
The stimulation of collagen and elastin can lead to a firmer, more lifted appearance.

Minimizes Pores:

By promoting skin regeneration, carboxytherapy can help minimize the appearance of enlarged pores.

Non-Invasive:
The procedure is considered safe and has minimal to no downtime.

The procedure  –

After deep cleansing the skin is gently exfoliated using a mild peel to prepare the skin. The carboxytherapy gel is applied, followed by the activator mask, which creates the CO2 reaction. You may experience a slight tingling or redness during the treatment, but these are usually temporary.  After treatment, a hydrating cream and sunscreen are usually applied.

Important Consideration –
Contraindications: Carboxytherapy may not be suitable for individuals with certain conditions like rosacea, eczema, or severe skin infections.
Under 18, pregnant or breastfeeding clients are not suitable for this treatment.
