Tina qualified with distinction in electrolysis for permanent hair removal over 30 years ago, discovering a true passion that has remained with her ever since. She went on to further her training, achieving another distinction in postgraduate advanced electrolysis, a specialised treatment used to address cosmetic blemishes.
For many years, Tina was the Scottish National Trainer for Sterex Electrolysis International Ltd. She also co-judged the prestigious Sterex Student of the Year Award and served as the consultant trainer for the company’s Transgender Electrolysis course, which she helped to pioneer.
Today, the majority of Tina’s work focuses on blemish removal, including skin tags, seborrhoeic keratosis and xanthelasma. The still carries out pre and post operative facial and donor-site electrolysis for transgender clients and pre and post skin graft hair removal treatments on behalf of the NHS and BUPA
Tina is proud to be a member of the British Institute & Association of Electrolysis (BIAE), a UK-wide organisation of highly skilled electrologists who are passionate about their profession. She also served on the BIAE Board from March 2022 to September 2023.
